Come out and support a great cause – all proceeds go to Mt. Holiday Recreation Area and other local non-profit organizations that support kids. And why did we choose Mt. Holiday? Not only is it one of Traverse City’s best-kept secrets (the wood-fired stove in the cozy bar…local beers…great food) but it also helps disadvantaged kids get off their couches and on the ski/snowboard hill. As a 501(c)3, Mt. Holiday provides free lessons, rentals, and more to school-age kids who utilize their school’s free lunch program. It’s a safe, fun place for kids who might not otherwise have anywhere to go during the winter.
