Noquemanon Ski Marathon

The Noquemanon Ski Marathon (known also as the “Noque”) is one of the largest point-to-point cross country ski marathons in the United States.

The race showcases the rugged and challenging terrain of northern Marquette County Michigan.  The 50K race starts in Ishpeming, the birthplace of organized skiing in the United States, and ends in Marquette, the largest city in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan at the world’s largest wooden dome.

The race is known for its premiere snow conditions, remote course, and beautiful views.  It is part of the American Ski Marathon Series and CXC Marathon Cup Series.

In addition to the 50K and 24K Classic and Freestyle races, other events are held over the race weekend including Skijour, Snowshoe, and Snowbike events.
